Azeez is a customer service specialist with experience across several industries such as banking, hospitality and transport spanning over 25 years.

Majority of which has been in transport working for Transport for London (TfL), a statutory cooperation, in various customer service related roles and capacities. Recent years has seen him work as a train driver for the last 18 years.

The story of how he got into the removals business was one of necessity, as the Covid19 pandemic health crisis impacted severely his industry and job with a 90% drop in passenger numbers. So, thinking of a way to create extra income to support his family, a friend who had been in the removals business encouraged him to buy a van and he began offering rubbish removal and home move services.

The business initially started under the name Greenway as he felt the main service offered: rubbish removal (removal & recycling) was by nature a conservational exercise. He says “We are at front line of the recycling chain yet most of the companies run around air-polluting with combustion diesel engines”.

This is why the company stands out in its marketplace as we seek to do things a little differently and aspire to be truly green. We aim to be the first carbon neutral removals company and plan to have the entire fleet of electric vehicles charged at solar powered depots by 2025. We see preserving the environment we live at the core of what we do.

We have re-positioned the brand and hence our new name Verdant Removals. As most removals companies do, we offer residential and commercial moves plus a removal recycling service within the two spheres.

Azeez is a core pleaser at heart who finds pleasure in helping someone achieve their goal or making them happy hence the brand is well positioned to deliver excellent customer experience.
